Making a move with pets!
1. Make sure to get a copy of your pet’s records, and make sure all records are current, and pets are up to date on all shots.
2. Make sure to bring verification of rabie certification, and health certification, stating your animal is in good health condition.
3. Make sure to have your animal tagged with proper identification tags, and other required licensing tags.
4. Many animals start to get nervous, when they sense change. They may start feeling edgy when they see their home and belongings getting packed up for a move. Try and give them a little extra attention to put them at ease.
5. If traveling for a long distance, your veternarian can prescribe a safe low dose relaxer for your pet. It will make yours and their trip alot more pleasant.
6. Make sure on a long trip to bring food and water for your pet. Also a leash is a good idea for exercise, out side of their cages.
7. When you get to your new home, slowly adjust your animal to the new enviroment. Don’t let them loose right away, and keep a close eye on them. Also make sure if they have any ID chips, to inform the company of an address change.
